rear end gears

I am getting redy to buy a 91 rs camaro with the 305, and it is all stock, well i am going to put new gears in the rear end. My question was this is going to be a daily driver so what gears should i put in? 3.75? And i had one more question i am going to put a shift kit in it also and put a diffrent torque converter, what rpm converter should i put it in? a 2,000 rpm?

Re: rear end gears

For a daily driven performance aimed car I would go with a stall with between 2200 - 2600 stall. Get a transgo over a B&M shift kit. Upgrades much more stuff. Also 3.73's are a all around good gear for quick acceleration and without killing you on the highway.

Re: rear end gears

Richmond are like 180 or so from summit. Then you have to get them put in. Hopefully you know someone to help or do that for you.
