Could be a few different things. Do you see any other problems with the car as well? Fist check your VSS sensor that goes usually odometer goes too. But since you have a digital odometer, that may not be the case. Other things to check loose wire, fualty guage cluster, bad sending unit, sensor and so forth. The bad part is that you will need to take everything apart to see exactly where the signal is dropping. Did you buy the car new? Do you have a warrenty? If so don't go taking stuff apart just head right over to Honda.
