I need help ASAP
I have a 2001 chevy malibu. It will crank all the way over to keep the car started. We've tried many many things, and im trying to figure out if anyone knows anything that it could possibly be. it turns all the way over just wont stay started PLEASE SOMEONE HELP

and where is that located? We've so far checked the alternater, and it was fine, still nothing it just wont start the car. I also wondered if it might be the starter. But it seems to be fine also. Just wont turn all the way over to keep the car started.

Turn all the way over, what does that mean, the starter stops cranking the engine before it starts? If it starts you mean it dies right away, very unclear what the condition is here.

It wants to start but its not catching. It doesn't die it just keeps trying to catch to keep itself running
