98 Cherokee Dash Removal problems, Need Help!!

I am trying to remove my dash to access the guage cluster to replace some burnt out instrument bulbs. Unfortunately I can't get too it because I can't get the dash cover off completely. It is completely off except for being stuck on the headlight knob. It won't fit through the dash, and I don't know how to remove it. If anyone knows how to get around this I could really use the help right now, sooner the better. Thanks

Hey,

Donno if it'll work on a 98 (but did it on my '88). If your Headlight Switch is on the dash and you pull it out to turn on the Headlights then it's just like mine.

If I remember correctly, first you must remove the knob and to do that you have to reach all the way up and back there on the switch there's a button that you press in to release the knob. Once you've done that the rest should be easy.

Let us know how you make out.

Thx, Phil
