'96 TL radio code??

The radio in my 1996 acura TL is reading CODEE. It seems like it's frozen in this place. I can turn it on and off, but nothing other then that, seems to work/do anything. Are there any buttons, perhaps, that i can hold/push to reset it or get this off. I just want to listen to the radio, but i'm not sure what i can do on my own. Is it just a matter of taking it to the dealer and seeing what they can do w/ it? Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: '96 TL radio code??

I work at a Acura Dealership. What your going to have to do is look around for white card. It'll have a 4 digit code on it. If you can't find it, you will have to remove the radio out of the dash and bring it to a Acura dealer. Bring 2 or 3 peices of ID and your ownership. The dealer can run the serial number on the bottom of the raido and get the code for you. If you can't remove the radio, the dealer will do it for half or a full hour. YOU CAN NOT CALL THE NUMBER IN.

You can get the number from the parts dept.
