panel lights still on

when I turn the switch off (key main switch) the panel lights still on, and the fuel pump still running. it's like the switch in on position before you start the engine.

check the ground. The cable may need replacing.

I couldn't agree more with checking the ground. Over time these cables can corrode, and can cause all kinds of electrical gremlins.
