NEED HELP!!!! New Plenum
Need help, there is a aluminum tube with a flange on it in the box with the new plenum, does anyone know what this is for? There is also a couple of small O rings, where do these go.

The TSB requires inspection of the stovepipe area of the lower intake manifold portion after the UIM is removed. The composite material would melt causing loss of coolant, etc. If there is degradation of the composite material corrective action is required in the form of the modified stovepipe which is covered in the link above. Check it out and see if the pipe is similar. If damage is noted corrective action/replacement will require more work like removal of the LIM. Hope the info helps.
