Cool diagnostic connector on '96 metro

I'm doing some routine maintainance on my 'new to me' '96 Metro, 1.0 L. I want to check and adjust the timeing. The procedure calls for jumpering the diagnostic connector. The Haynes manual doesn't show where this thing is under the hood.

Does anyone know where this thing is and how to jumper it for adjusting the timing?

BTW this is the first car I've had in a long time that actually has a cap/rotor !

diagnostic connector or a 96 should be under dash next to console, should be a OBDII system

Thanks, but I know where the OBDII connector is, this is different. It's supposed to be under the hood and its supposed to be jumpered in order to adjust the timing.

I found it! Yes, it's right behind the drivers side strut. Wouldn't you think it would be labelled somehow?
Thanks for the help!
