Rear blower control failure
My windstar -00 rear blower doesn't work. The fan works when hotwired directly and on relay sockets(excludes the resistors?). The relays work separately when tested with 12v on manouver connections. It seems like I get no control voltage to the relays. I do get 12v to the relay mains.
Any Ideas someone? |

Re: Rear bower control failure
Are you saying the motor runs if you jump over the resistors?
Another poster had to replace the resistor pack. |

No the resistors are fine, so are the relays and motor. It seems like the relays that feeds the resistors dont get there manouver voltage. |

The fan doesn't run at all? Or will it run in one speed only? Just curious I had a similar problem with the rear blower not letting the relays close. My fan ran in low speed no matter where I put the blower selector. In my case it was a bad fuse. I have wiring diagrams for 2001 Windstar, if you would like a snapshot of it for this circuit let me know and I will do my best to get it to you.
