My lights are slowing fading away one section at a time. How do I remove the dashboard panel/console to replace them? Or is this a fuse problem?

i just replaced my center console light about five min ago. that is simple u just need to take the center console off and the light is right there. its a little plastic browm piece that u twist and it comes out. then just pull the light out. i took my dash off of my 94 lx. First i took the off the dash cover.its 8 bolts that u have to take off and then that will come off. to get it off easier i dropped the steering colunm and then bolted it back in place after i was done. Then there are 4 bolts that hold on the dash. after i pulled it i took the speedometer cable off but its a parts car so it didnt matter to me, but i think you should be able to keep it onand the lights are in the back and they just turn and pop right out. Reverse order for instilation.

Re: dashboard or console lights
I'm sorry. I thought I was in the Ford Taurus forum. I have a 99 Ford taurus with dimming dashboard lights. Is the procedure the same?
