3000gt N/a vs 1992 Camaro

Alright i dont know wut kind of Camaro it was but it was loud as hell to start off. I just came from a good day at the mall. lol my gf wanted to go shopping. i was like oh boy thats so much fun lol not. well we just get back from shopping at the mall. now im so broke. We are on a highway 295 south to be exact. She is one of those kinds of girls that if someone brakes in front of u alittle she starts to freak out. I mean she is afraid of any little movement while driving. Me i love speed and driving wrecklessly. Well I saw this camaro and i was like well it will dust me so why not. I already have 2 wreckless tickets y not get another one and have fun doing it. So im riding next to this Camaro and we are at an 70mph roll. Well he revs and then i knew he wanted to go. so stupid me i pop it into 4th im in 5th right now. And he guns it it was an auto you coudl just tell. So i go and gun it but i wasnt getting up to speed fast enough. So he is about 1 car length and i pop it into 3rd. Im going about 95-100 in 3rd redlining. and i switch to 4th at this time i was infront of him about 2 car lengths but he was staying. I redline in 4th gear and im not even looking at the speedometer i just want to dust this guy. And i go to 5th. By now he is about 3 car lengths behind. And we are flying down the highway. I see my exit to drop my gf off exit is creighton road. Well i slam on my brakes and i take the exit. The camaro follows my ass off the highway and to a gas station. We started talking and he said i wouldnt have expected that car to be that fast and he said wut do i have under the hood and i said a stock engine. he looked like surprised. My gf was yelling at me the whole way back from the gasstation telling me that coudl have been the last time i would beable to drive if there was a cop. I had a Video Camera in the glove box and the whole time i was yelling at her to take a video but she had her eyes closed and wouldnt do it. so that is one of my kills and i love my 3000gt more than ever.

nice kill man. Did he tell you what he had in his camaro? im assuming it was a 6

he said he had a catback on it and cold air in it. i dont know wut kind it was im thinking 6. i wish i asked i wasnt to worried i was more trying to calm down my gf. cause she wigs out like crazy when this stuff happens

okay man, yea itn was a nice kill, but your gf obviously is scared shitless so why would you put both of your lives in danger?? Plus you already have 2 speeding tickets, so that means you're on really thin ice... you got really lucky man, if I were you, I'd save all of your races for the track before you get your liscence taken away...

well anyone that knows me like all the people that grew up with me know that i love speed and cant get enough of it. and im 17 so i dont think i can take my car to the track and race it. i dont know i need to do some research on it. but i just love the feeling of knowing that it might get me into trouble. but im trying to stop my habits. like today a toyota mr2 1st gen came up beside me and started reving and just took off and my gf looked at me and said go ahead and then i was like its okay i need to stop anyway. so im trying to stop on the highway. lol but its addicting.

speed is addicting, I do agree, and it sounds like your girl is warming up to it, but I just wouldn't do it if your gf's telling ya not too, but that's me.

yeah, u gotta balance it... and don't f' with cars that u know will leave ya... cept I screwed with a turbo'ed 350z and a Lancer Evo (stage 3 turbo)... just to hear them really hit the turbo... I lost, but that's not saying much for the SOHC...

see i will just race people that i know i will lose to just for fun. because its a race and you never know when they might have a engine problem. but i like just messing with people that can smoke me so i can see when they will leave me. like i tried to take on my friends c6 vetter and i knew he would smoke me but it was just for fun.

I don't screw around with people I don't know... or haven't seen around... b/c they'll either do something stupid or talk trash the next time u see them... I just don't want no drama... I've got enough as it is...

Are you sure it was a turbo'd 350z??? cuz I know they make a TT kit for it, but I don't think it's very popular... I know that there's an s/c kit that's pretty popular though... either way that's fun stuff...

it could have easily been a 305, those old camaros are usually beaten pretty bad. I had a 92 camaro with a 305 it was pretty loud, but I could beat it with my R/T

Yeah, I know it was a turbo... the guy is always bragging around town... I don't know him personally... but I could also hear it spooling... and it blew off... so I'm pretty sure it was a turbo...

True... I'm just used to the local rice scene... boys with a little intake and a lot of show... they try and f' with u then talk smack... even if they lose... I raced a freakin' accord with $1200 under the hood... I had an intake and exhaust... and I beat him bad... but he still talked junk... I just hate all the drama around here... and there's not too many high-end cars that will actually race... I messed around with a Corvette once... but that was just to see what he'd do... I wasn't really trying to keep up... b/c he and I knew he had me... I have tried taking a few cars that have claimed some high power around here...

There's a guy with a 2002 Civic, supposedly has the RSX motor swapped, and a whole bunch of mods (his parents are loaded...) but he'll never race me... he started to once... I downshifted and he backed off... I did mess with an '85 Camaro once... it was the boyfriend of one of my very good female friends... The original motor had been blown up, they swapped the 350... woulda never expected the '85 RS to have that much power, til I looked under the hood...

Yeah i know wut ya mean about ricer people that think that they are so bad ass. man they piss me off. I had a ricer 1993 integra ls come up next to me yesterday and wanted to go but all he had was a loud exhaust u know one of those whining exhausts that u could tell was so fake. but i didnt even waste my time.
