Are they power or manual?

Mine are manual and I simply fixed it buy tightening screws and moving the glass a bit with the door panel off.

Re: How do you fix the alignment for the window?

Mine are power, the thing is that the window does not align with the weather stripping.

The window leans in way too much, I need to tilt the window just a little bit (away from the car).

Ah ic, mine was almost the same way, it wouldn't meet with the weather stripping and it was letting water and air in. Have you tried taking off the door panel and trying to re-align it yourself? Shouldn't be too hard.

Re: How do you fix the alignment for the window?

I have tried for maybe 15 hours total trying to re-align it...Is not that it is letting in water or air, its leaning in too much toward the car. In other word there is too much stress on the window when it is closed. For example, if the window is up and I oped the door, the door will just pop open (because of the stress on the window)!

Hope that makes sense.

THANKS!

I've never adjusted my windows. But, I did have all that apart a few times and I know how hard it is to see all the tracks and everything... I thought this might help you to see what all there is for adjustments... I'm thinking if you can't get it adjust though, you may need to use some washers to bring the bottom half out more so that it tilts it to the outside. But that would be if you can't adjust it any further. Good luck.

Re: How do you fix the alignment for the window?

Thanks blackcrow for the pic, I already have a chiltons manual and I have tried to use the pic...I was thinking about the washer idea too. But we'll see if I do it, I am just sick and tired with that window.

Thanks for the help though!
