Stereo Installation in '97
I just bought a used '97 trailblazer. The stereo system (Deck, amp, and speakers) were stolen out of it. I have a new stereo to put in it, but I am not sure which wires go to what. On the deck, they are labeled, but not on the car. Can anybody tell me which colored wires do what?

I could be wrong here, but being a 97', you probably have a Blazer, the "Trailblazer" edition. They used to make a Trailblazer Edition of the regular blazer. It was basically an upgraded model, but still a regular blazer (kind of like an Eddie Bower Explorer). If this is the case, you may want to visit the Blazer section of this forum.
The actual Trailblazer was not built until 02' (correct me if I'm wrong). |

Re: Stereo Installation in '97
True, didnt know that Chevy made a Trailblazer package for the Blazer in 97, I thought it was a limited edt. package in 99 and 00 only.
But, KahneFan is right, your TrailBlazer is really an S-10 Blazer with the TrailBlazer package, not a true TrailBlazer that this forum is for. 2002-2006+ is what this forum is for, but the Blazer guys are probably pretty helpful!
