Glad I got my brakes checked
Well I went into Midas today expecting just a routine brake pad change, Well I was wrong it turned out that my rear brakes were almost compleatly dead. <pulls out list of items replaced>
Emergency Brake: Status: Inoperative and stuck good thing its stuck disengaged instead of engaged.<will probably have mechanic cut the cable when I bring it in for tune up> Front Brakes: Clean and Lube Calipers Rear Brakes: Clean and adjust brakes Two wheel bleed 2 Wheel Cylinders Seals Greased Bearings Repaked I think its pretty bad when you go look at the breaks and thier ahem leeking on the rear brakes But now everything is all new and shiny and works great Only thing I need to do now is get a good tune up and I should be all set. Only had one problem was driving home from target and because the parking brake is stuck the spring was bunched up a little bit on the brake but not far enough to actually make the e-brake do anything but it did make the thing that engages the e-brake go down just enough to cause the brake light to go on after I hit a nasty bump. But anyway all is good And the annoying squeek that my front left tire used to make is gone
