Re: bogging

catalytic converters can stop up but usually just burn out. Replace air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, add a can of Sea Foam to next fill-up

Re: bogging

My 89 f-250 w/460 bogged up hills and I found out my distributor gear was sheared off but was still running.....also check your fuel pressure and fuel pressure regulator with a high pressure fuel tester on the fuel rail. Idle only reqiures 30lbs, but under load you need near 45lbs, so you could have either a bad low or high pressure fuel pumps. also check that your spark plugs are in the right firing order, that also f*#ks up the power real quick....hope this helps.
ps Harbor freight sells a $11.00 high pressure fuel tester
