Thumbs up tachometer hook up wire for a 2001 Crown Vic Police Interceptor

Has anyone hooked up a tachometer to a 2001 CVPI or civilian crown Victoria? What color is the RPM wire from the coil and where can it be found. I know the older models use tan with a yellow stripe, but I was told that it had changed after 1999. Any suggestions?
