Question Flywheel

My 1992 Pontiac sunbird sometimes makes a loud screeching sound when i crank the engine, and it might do that 5 times to start, then it cranks. Or else it starts the 1st time. Could it be the flywheel, or is it the starter?
Thanks for helping!!

first lets do the easiest take the starter off and take it to autozone

they test it for free and they will tell u if is ok or not

if is ok when u put it back make sure is tight and wires are tight too

flywheels take long to go bad. so it might be the starter
