95 240sx problem

i recently replaced the right control arm and the steering rack. once i finished putting everything in, i used a very little amount of engine degreaser on the valve cover. now when i rev the car or drive it, there is a noise that sounds like something is leaking. the noise kind of sounds like an inconsistent humming. it seems to be coming from the fan. i'm not sure if when i used the engine degreaser, it got onto other components or not. what would most likely be the problem? thank you.

Re: 95 240sx problem

you're gonna have to describe this sound a little more..

what you COULD try is checking all your fluid levels frequently to see if they're changing.

normally a degreaser won't hurt your engine unless you've got a crack in a tube or pipe.. what kind of a degreaser was it? did you have to spray it off after?
