How to stop thieves from popping your door lock!!!

I got these door plates custom made to fit behind the door handle. These plates help stop the bad guy from popping your door open with a screwdriver. As we all know Dakotas and Durangos have a crappy designed door handle lock setup and can easily be opened in less than 5 seconds.

Understand this in no way means that your Dakota or Durango will not be stolen, this just eliminates one of the easiest ways to break in.

I had nothing planned to do today (Saturday) I took some time to remove my door plate and make a drawing up with all the dimensions. So you guys can get the plates made and protect your pride and joy. Something so cheap but yet so affective!!!

Here's some notes:
-The holes on the plates where the bolts go thru are a 1/4"
-The thickness of the plate is an over sized 1/16"
-The plate is made out of stainless steel. It could be made out of regular steel but it should be painted or powder coated.

If you guys have any questions email me, pm me or post here. I'll be glad to help out!!!
