ABS Codes

Does anybody know if a OBD2 scanner will retrieve ABS light codes as well?

Thanks,
Greg

Re: ABS Codes

If it has the software for the ABS. If it is an inexpensive code reader,it probably will not read the ABS.

Re: ABS Codes

some abs codes are retrievable by grounding the orange/black wire near the e-brake pedal and counting the abs light flashes

Re: ABS Codes

rear wheel drive with rear antilock has flash codes, 4wheel drive with 4 wheel abs you need a scanner and typical cheap obd 2 readers have no abs function
