I think Eibach makes 1.5" or 2" drop springs for the MN12.

Re: What kind of lowering springs should i buy??

yes. Eibach has the 1.5" lowering kit. Intrax has the 2" lowering kit, and Sprint (?) has about a 1.8"

I have the Intrax 2" Kit, and theyre pretty good.

Re: What kind of lowering springs should i buy??

I have a set of Vogtland lowerings springs that are .75-1.0" drop. They were designed to help eliminate the bottoming out that can be caused by 1.5" or greater drops. They were purchased through a GP on TCCOA. $191 shipped.

Re: What kind of lowering springs should i buy??

Most tire you can run on the 17's is a 245/45 17. Otherwise you'll run into clearance issues with the suspension.

Oh, oops I dont know where I got that we were talking about tires. Personally, I'd go with the 1.5" kit, if you go too low its just going to end up being a pain in the ass trying not to scrape on speed bumps, potholes, ETC.

Re: What kind of lowering springs should i buy??

I have the Eibach 1.5" "pro" kit on mine. it looks really good. It handles and rides great. you have to be fairly careful when going over speed bumps because you can bottom out very easily if they are tall narrow ones. I havent really hit the front end though on any steep inclines or declines although I have taken of the front air dam/scoop because that does hit on almost everything and just rips off after a little while. The only time my car has gotten close to being hot since was when I was doing 95 through the desert on a 95 degree day.
