Re: Clicking when i turn left??

Does the clicking sound closer together as you speed up? My accord would make clicking noises while turning, and if I accelerated while turning the clicking would get faster and faster paced as I sped up. I had to replace the driver side axel with that one. I can't remember which way I was turning to cause it to click though.
I'd just get under the car and look at the CV boots themselves. A cracked boot or leaking grease would tell you that the CV joint may be the problem. I also believe that once you hear the clicking, some damage to the CV joint has already been done. That's why I replaced the axel on my accord and not just replaced the boot. It was only $70 for the axel after I gave them the core back.

just get a rebuilt axle for 60 or so from your parts store. By the time you pay 30 for the boot and rebuild it yourself its well worth just buying a rebuilt axle.

200!!!! you're out of your mind, i wouldn't pay more than 70 each. I just put both in my car for about 126 bucks and that has a lifetime replacement as well.

Re: Clicking when i turn left??

The fluff in the price would also include installation....most people can't change theyre oil let alone remove and install 2 axles. Yes I am out of my mind...thank you for noticing

ahhh gotcha I thought we were talking about the price of axles only. Plus pepboys threw me off, I always forget they do work as well as sell parts.

Your c-v joint is junk. Once you hear that clicking noise. If you want cheap oem parts,(even cheaper than aftermarket) go to www.discoveryautoparts.com. they have very fast shipping to. They have evreything for a honda or acura. motors, trannys, ecu ex.
