Question about an engine i might get

I found a 'Honda Integra *DA8* B16A2 Front Clip' with what they say has a b16A2 with 170bhp. i was wondering if this was a good enough engine to swap into a 93 civic si hatch with now a d16z6?

The B16 is a very common swap into civics, go for it.

Re: Question about an engine i might get

You should check to see if it's a cable or hydro transmission.

You'll need this kit from hasport (hydro to cable) http://www.hasport.com/Products/Moun...nt%20EGBCC.htm

Re: Question about an engine i might get

couldnt he just sell that tranny and buy a hydro tranny, like one on the SiR II B16a? im guessing it'd be easier than converting

Yeah does anyone have a second opinion on the just buying a hydro tranny instead of converting it? because hydro is better right? also 95dxcivic i'm not too sure you'll want my d16, it has 300,000+ miles on it, THOUGH it doesnt leak any oil, compression is perfect, and it purrs like i just bought it off the lot (was garage kept before i owned it) so I'm not sure how much it's worth..
