1999 300m
I recently purchased a 1999 Chrysler 300M, and I love it. I only wish I had a keyless entry remote. The dealer I purchased the car from did not have a remote, and did not know if the car was equipped.
I spoke to the local Chrysler dealer who told me there was no way to tell if the car was equipped without bringing it in. I hope this isn't true. Does anyone know of a way to tell if this car is equipped with keyless entry? Thanks! |

Re: 1999 300m
I had the same problem with mine, it's a 1999 I bought it and it didn't have the remote, I was told that if it had the security system, " which I believe all of them do" that it would have it. In the owner's manual it shows you how to program a fob, but you need one that works, the dealer should know for sure though good luck!

Re: 1999 300m
keyless entry is standard equipment.

Re: 1999 300m
I agree with the previous post. All the research I did before purchasing one said it's standard equipment.

Re: 1999 300m
All 300M's come with standard keyless remote. You can buy them on ebay, but beware the Chrysler part number ending in "AA". You want the "AC" designation. Your "no-star" dealer can program the key fob for you, but they will stab you for around an additional $100.00 to do it.
