starter change

I am attempting to remove my dead starter and replace it with a new one. I know almost nothing about cars to this might be a problem. Well at least i found the starter and bought a repair manual. The real problem is that i dont know what the kickdown cable routing bracket is or looks like. could anyone please give a description? Thanks.
