trunk emblem

anyone know how to install an impala trunk emblem onto a caprice?

all emblems now adays are held on by double sided adhesive tape. just take it off, buy new 3M double sided EXTERIOR tape and put it on the new car.

it very well may have the double sided tape, but there are two screw-like objects on each end holding it on as well..cant figure out how to get em out

oh, well thats not really an emblem, thats a trunk key hole, thats different, I thought you meant and emblem. well those are either allen wrenches(hex nut keys) or they might even be rivits. if they are allen screws, just use the appropriate size allen wrench to take them out, if they are rivits, you would have to drill the rivits out (leaving two holes in the car) then you could have to place the trunck key hole cover on the new car, mark where the holes are, drill holes into the car, then re-rivit that onto the new car.

in any case, id say its too much work. but thats me.
