Question how to hook up tachometer in 92 integra

hi guys i just got my tach and i need help with , how 2 hook it up , i try 2 do it from the dist from the blue wire but i got low reading so plz if any body know another way help me out ??

i just hooked up on in my 91 integra and it was very easy on your distributer you have two wires comming oout of it the blue one is the tach wire i ran the wire through were the pedals are <through the fire wall> and spliced the green wire from the tach to the blue wire. and everything els was too easy just hook up the ground then the power/12v wires to a fuse and you'll b in bizness ...what type of tach do you got? what wires are coming out of the tach mine had like six b-cuz it was a 7 color glow guage tach w/shift light
