muffler on civic hb?

hi guys, i have a 90' civic hb, i took off the stock muffler and put in a loud ass can but now im tired of it. i want to put a stock one on again BUT want a muffler like the crx si with the dual out's, and wanted to know first of all will it gain anything or loose power or stay the same? second, from what other cars can i put on my hatch ( integras have the dual exits) ? probably go to the junkyard or ask around my friends if they still have there's. thanxs guys.

Re: muffler on civic hb?

No Civic, CRX, or Integra came with a stock dual exhaust. You will lose power from it with your 4 cylinder engine. People do it for show, and show only (or not knowing any better).

I think he meant dual tips like the CRX Si. A brand new one may cost you $40-60 from a muffler shop installed.

Re: muffler on civic hb?

the civic si hatch would be the only one that would fit nicely for the whole exhaust. if you just want from the muffler to the tips you could use a crx si one. tegs and 4 door civics would have too long of tips and stick way out past your bumper.
