olds 403

I have a 1983 buick riviera. It has the 307Y and it is FWD. At the junkyard is a 77 olds 403 that came out of a buick electra that will bolt right up in it. Then 403 is only $400. I plan on putting a edelbrock performer cam, edelbrock intake, and roller rocker arms, and a new timing chain kit in it. I was wondering is it worth it and could my transmission handle the power. How much horsepower and torque do you think i could get out of it? Anything will help and if there is something else i need to know please tell me.
