Question Wireing Harness

Will a 97 1.5l engine harness fit on a 2000 1.8l engine and do i have to get new ecu's for the 2000 1.8l (engine/tran)

no it wont work with the 1.8 motor, the wiring is different for the 2, same goes with the ecu, it needs to be from a 1.8l cuz the 1.5s wont work it at all, but look for a 97 1.8l ecu i hear they are better than the rest. but if it was as easy as just changin the motor and nothin else i would have already swapped

call your local junk yard, or there is always the dealership but they will rape you for a harness
