Be careful going bigger engine wise, I cant tell you what engine you can put into it because Im new to Jeeps, but I had an 89 Bronco II That was lifted 7" with 35's and only a 302 and I replaced the font axels about once a month. My point is everything was stock but the tires, lift, and engine. There is alot more you have to upgrade along with the engine. I got pissed at that truck and got a Jeep we'll do this one right!

Re: 350 conversion questions..

Forced induction is just more cost effective. Then you'll have more money to replace stuff as it brakes!

Better yet, I bet your engine just isn't running like it used to. How many miles? I'm new to Jeeps as well, but I bet that you could rebuild the engine, and maybe even bore it out a little, and it would be running pretty strong. You could even get high compression pistons (or just shave some metal off the bottom of the head)... but then you'd have to run higher octane gas. ...Other than that, I hope you've got a lot of money for drivetrain parts. But 4wheel burn outs are always fun!
