New to Silverado's...
Hey guys, I'm pretty new to trucks and I'm lookin at a '94 Silverado Z71 with 86k miles here it is: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=14
Just wondering what everyone thinks, and what are some things I should check when I test drive and check the truck out? And are there some common clicks the car has that occasionally goes wrong or anything like that? |

Re: New to Silverado's...
Seems like a pretty good deal. Low miles for sure. I would take it to your mechanic, or a friends mechanic to have them take a look at it. Also, you might want to check on the C/K forum, this is for 99 and newer, you will find more people over there that can help you out more.

$10K for that truck is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much! I find the 21mpg a little high. But if you're going to take a look at this truck, check out the muffler and pipes too make sure no rust, check out the body lift as well. I have a feeling by the way it looks that truck might not ride well at all.

YUK! Are you kidding me? It looks like the Mexican custom shop threw up on that. Get a mural of Jesus fighting a dragon airbrushed on the hood and you will be set to go!

Re: Re: New to Silverado's...
Sorry, let me re-phrase, I thought it was a good deal, I didnt pay enough attention to them want 10k for it. A 94 with that low miles seemed nice. But not 10k nice, maybe 6k nice, but it is a dealer who probably paid 2k for it if that.
