Question noise under dash when steering

My wifes 2003 (6-cyl FWD) VUE has been making a sound from underneath the dash when you turn the steering wheel. This happens every other time we drive and I can't find anything that could be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No real idea, but these are 1 of the 1st vehicles with electric power steering.
You don't say what type of noise, so i thought I'd throw out this idea.
