New exhaust system

I have a 88 Bronco II (2.9L) and I need to replace at least the muffler. Any suggestions on what muffler i should install and where can i purchase it for a reasonable price? I would like to maintain performance without increasing noise levels.

Hey, If your looking to relpace it, take the catalytic converter off, throw on a power toner(the quiet one) it sounds pretty cool and it only cost about 70 bux for them to put on for you! It doesnt really have a different sound then a stock exhaust it is juts a bit deeper sounding. I had one on my chevy 350 and it eventually burned out so it has hardly any blockage left in the muffler(staright pipes almost, and its loud) If you want a loud exhaust i would say go with 3 inch dual exhaust stainless Twisters. Stop in at a minute muffler anywhere, they are always good and reasonable.
