2002 w/Sensitive Alarm

I am new to this forum & hope this is the right place. My new (used) 4runner's alarm has gone off many times in the past few weeks. Daytime and nightime! Some times are from my daughter hitting it with a football (future quarterback) and once from ambulance sirens at least 1/2 mile away. My previous 2002 4runner (now deceased) was similar but not as bad.

What gives? Is there a way to change the sensitivity?
