'97 Sable Power Seat not working

The power seat in my car isn't working, which sucks becasue my wife was the last person to drive it....and she's quite a bit shorter than I am!

It's totally dead....fwd/bwd up/down....no response. Anyone know a good quick fix?

Is there any way to manually adjust a power seat? For example, can I stick a screwdriver in it anywhere and manually crank it back? It's too cold out to dig into it too much right now, and I don't feel like paying a shop $500 to diagnose a problem, then another $500 to fix it...

Any tips would be appreciated.

Did you check the fuses? Are you getting power to the seat motor? Check the plug under the seat and make sure it is not loose.
