My Rear...

windshield wiper has stoped working with no warning. Could this be a fuse, and if so where is it located? If its not a fuse, what could the problem be, and how do I repair it?

***Its stuck straight up in the middle of my rear glass.***

I have a 1996 Blazer LT 4x4.

Thanks in advance,

-TuBlaz

Re: My Rear...

Just replaced the motor on my front wipers , On my older one (89). There is no relay on mine so if not the fuse it could be the motor or the pulse board which controls the delay . You have to check the wiring harness for voltage to ground with a meter or probe . Rob

Re: My Rear...

Typically with a motor that just stops like that on the 96-99 it's the circuit board inside the motor unit. Remove the board and resolder all the points in it. This is actually a recall item, so if you call the dealership with that vin number, they can tell you if it's included with the list of the recalls for your truck. (All recalls are free fixes)
