Armrests 06 EX man. trans

Anyone know if I can install armrests in a manual trans 06 EX? I can feel the anchor on the passenger side but not the drivers side???

It is phisically possible, but it can get in the way of shifting gears while the seat is forward.
I mocked up one out of a peice of wood (using the dimensions of another CRV with arm rests) and had someone hold it in place while I went through the gears like in driving senerios.
I found it was not a problem for me with the seat fully back, but I am sure that if the seat was push away ahead (for my wife for example) it would be awkward.
