ground wire ???
ok i just bought a 89 dx that has a d16 sohc zc swaped into it, and when you turn on the headlights or press the brake or go into high rpms the temp gauge go's to hot and the radio dies and the guy i bought it off of says he thinks its a ground wire but i checked them all and they look good, help please

that sounds like a short. Well, i cant think of an electrical explanation as to why it would go up when the rpms go up but the rest sound like a short or possible faulty connection. get a wiring diagram and start by checking the rear/tail lights harness

alright well im a dumbass , this car was buggin the hell out of me so i went and bought new ground wire, and when i took the main body ground off i saw that it was grounded to the battery holder and it dirty and rusty so i moved it to the fender and now it works perfect .
