2000 pontiac sunfire just bought yellow light on wont go off circle w/slash though it

just bought 2000 pontiac sunfire,yellow light on. the light has two letters i think they are tc with a half circle with a slash though it can any one help me with this please and thank you very much. oh and the car blows cold air when we turn on the heat and the a/c light comes on when we turn on the heat help thank you.

the yellow indicator is for traction control which is OFF when light on.

As for AC light when heat this is normal on newer cars as what it does is simply matches heat outside to inside windows before heating to prevent massive frost and fog on windows. Just let it set for a minute or two and shoudl kick off once up to heat for defrost or heating purposes.
