I have a 1995 S10 Blazer with 4.3l Vtech with the airfilter on the side. I was driving on the freeway and my car sputtered and died as though I was out of gas, although it wasnt. After I got it back to my shop I checked the spark and it was low, so I replaced the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Sparking great now but still no start. I replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel pressure at the back of the engine at the schrader valve and it was puttting out around 56-60 psi, so the fuel pump is good. It has spark and gas so what the hell is wrong?!!? Help!

Just a thought?
Could it be my fuel pressure regulator? I am getting some washing on the passenger side when I look into the plenum. Would that keep it from starting? And if so how do I test if the fuel pressure regulator is bad?

Re: 95 S10 Blazer will not start, I am totally stumped

When you turn the key to the run (not start) do the dash lights come on? Do you hear the familiar fuel pump whine? If not you may have a bad ignition switch. Just replaced one myself. If you do have lights and the fuel pump whine you can eliminate that.
