Well, first its nice to have an everlasting filter. Second, it increases low end air flow, which means more hp and torque. Its not some major boost, but it defentally helps. I have heard some rumors of it letting really small particles through, but I havent found that to be true at all, i've found it to be a better filter than any of the other brands. (also a good oil filter) :bandit:

k&n is a four layer air filter made out of surgical cotton gauze. it has the highest filtration rate on the market, meaning it traps the most dirt particles, and it has the best rating on the market for trapping little stuff...

the filter also flows more air than your factory filter. more air flow, better filtration.... less dirt, more power... sounds good...

i have not heard that k&n allows more little stuff, rather that it is the other way around, and that filters that may flow more air also flow more dirt b/c they are less restrictive... a bit more power, a bit more dirt... i'll stick w/ the k&n thanks...
