More tranny problems hope u can help

Hey guys I posted this thread on the ford forum But AH Not So Much. I have a Ford E350 box truck and about a month ago it started making a racket when i take off from a start like the drive shaft does not want to engage, its a nasty clank and grind but if i baby it and once i am out of first i am ok. I thought it was the drive shaft and then someone said they thought it was the tranny what do you guys think?
