tranny swap

can a 5-speed manual out of a 95-99 neon (A578) swap into a 1996 stratus. Same motor (2.0) and I believe the same tranny. Don't know hope someone can help. no one answered me in the stratus forum.

According to this article from allpar.com, yes. The 5 speed tranny is the same in the neon, stratus, breeze, avenger, and the pt cruiser that have the 2.0L engine....
