Rear wiper trouble.

Yes I did a search.

Mine works half of the time. The first stroke works fine back and forth. On the next one, the first stroke is fine, the back stroke is weak. Sometimes it is just jerky or doesn't work at all.

Switch problem?

Re: Rear wiper trouble.

Mine did that. You can try replacing the circuit breaker for it and see if that makes a difference..And putting on a new blade.

Re: Rear wiper trouble.

Might be a gear beginning to wear out in the actual rear wiper assembly. That is what happened to mine. You can notice it if it starts to make a clicking noise and gives you trouble with movement.

A replacement motor and arm is usually between $50-75 at a parts yard. It is a fairly easy replacement.

Yeah. The circuit breaker was weak.

Re: Rear wiper trouble.

It might just need to be lubricated. If you hold the blade off of the window, does it go through the normal wiping motion?
