2000 Saturn Sc1 windshield wiper problems

My wipers are going wack and crossing over each other. Any one else had this happen?

has anybody messed with the wiper arms are maybe had to remove them before? have they worked fine before this problem? that problem is normally someone not installing the arms correct but could be from linkages that work the wipers coming loose. they work in seqeunce because both arms are run from the same linkage.

also which one seems to be out of whack or do they both seem like they are just messed up?

Hi Thanks for the reply.Sorry I couldn't get back sooner. The drivers side started first. Bought the car used. One of the first problems I had was the wiper fell off. Wasn't until later that they got out of sync. Cars had alot of problems like water leaking in too.
