Auto Reverse
I have a 96 sable with the tape deck and digital climate control. I purchased a couple of different cassette adapters for a portable cd player and they all seem to have the same problem. They try to switch to side 2 and then go to 1. They just go back and forth until it finally kicks the tape out. Is there a way to disable the auto-reverse?

Re: Auto Reverse
not that i know of, I had the same problem. If you want to listen to CD's you might have to pony up and get a CD changer with an FM Modulator.

Re: Auto Reverse
save yourself time, money and trouble.......get a new radio with a CD player in it....you can get a basic one for around $120.00
www.crutchfield.com you can get the right harness and any adapters for it there at no extra charge, it even comes with step by step instructions.....

Re: Auto Reverse
Crutchfield provides all of the fillers and adapters at no extra charge....I have a 95 sable and no filler was needed....that, however does not speak to other years,.
