Dumbest question of alltime

Would the driveshafts of a 2gen crx (1.6l) fit in a 4th gen civic (1.4l) gearbox
I have a Dohc engine but its with the 1,4 gearbox......and if was to use the 1,4 driveshaft what will be the downside of it? driveshaft will break?

Dont got the cash for a 1,6 gearbox at the moment

Or could someone tell me how hard would it be to change the gears?....i have a 87 teg gearbox ...would it be possible to swap evering over to my 1,4 gearbox?
