My daytime running lights have recently started to flash (like a stobe light) and won't stay on. I am wondering what this could be and if anyone else has had problems with their daytime running lights. When i put on my head lights it is fine. I have also ruled out the altenator.

Re: '96 sunfire Daytime running lights help
ARe you referring to the headlighst blinking or the indicator in dash that wher strobbing?
Since no longer works do your low/high beams work? I'd check fuse if both are gone. As well may have a short in wire or wire broken. |

Re: '96 sunfire Daytime running lights help
Mine staretd doing this, and all i have is low lights, no high beams.
I am going to replace bulbs( with old ones i replaced) and see if fixes, then try relay in bumper, don't really want to play with wiring as all muddy and icey in this season. |

Re: '96 sunfire Daytime running lights help
I just replaced relay today, and get following symptoms:
start vehicle daylights indicator on, put on low beams, low beams work, put on high beams nothing, then back to low or off and on. I switched the bulbs and same issue. Although if i switch to old relaay it flashes indicator, so issue must be a few things. ANy suggestions other then testing wires? |
