95 Grand Cherokee wont start after driving

Hi everyone here is my problem if you drive my 95 Grand Cherokee 5.2 for about 15min then shut the car off and try to start it back up it wont start all you get is a click under the hood if you wate about a 1/2 hour it starts right up i thought it was the starter so i put a new one in and it still doues the same thing please help thanks
